Antelopes live in North America, Eurasia, South America. They can be found in various prairies, in small herds. These animals are the fastest in North America. Antelopes can run up to 61 miles per hour (ca. 98 km/h) and keep a speed of 45 miles per hour (ca. 72 km/h). This is incredible data!
Antelopes and similar animals are quite easy to draw, because there are not many small details used in drawing. For example, in drawing an ant, there are many more complex small details. Let’s start the drawing and enjoy the process together!

How to Draw an Antelope
- Prepare the basic outline.
Begin by sketch the general outline of the antelope. First form the head of the animal, and then depict the outline of the body.
- Add details.
First, draw an ear which is similar in shape to a leaf. The second draw the pupil of the animal, and immediately after that add the mouth and nose.
- Draw the horn.
Using two curved lines draw the pointed antelope horn. You need to extend out two parallel curved lines from the head and connect them at the top. Also, in addition to the horn, in this step you need to add the stripe on the face of the antelope.
- Second horn.
Naturally, the antelope has two horns, and it is the second horn that you need to add in this step. Using the way from the previous step, draw the horn of this proud animal. Also add a small detail on the face of the antelope, as shown in the example from the step.
- Draw the legs.
Upper body done! At this stage, you need to depict the limbs of the antelope. Depict the front and back legs of the antelope, which are visually closer. Please note that the legs should not be drawn in a static state, because the antelope is in the process of walking.
- Texture the skin of the antelope.
Add stripes on the face, neck, and torso of the antelope as shown in the example. There should be a semicircular pattern around the eye, and smoother or pointed lines in other parts.
- Add the second part of the legs.
Draw the far legs of the antelope using curved lines. The closer legs are static, and the hind legs are supporting during walking in this example. Keep these details in mind while drawing.
- Draw the tail.
Depict the small antelope’s tail. The tail may look like a leaf in shape.
- Color your beautiful artwork.
