Frogs are called a whole group of animals that represent the order “Tailless amphibians”. Therefore, this term can be used in relation to various representatives of a similar order of animals, although many apply it exclusively in relation to the “true frogs” family.
There is a wide variety of frogs in the wild. There are poisonous frogs that are extremely dangerous to humans and other animals. Each species of amphibians is unique and has its own characteristics. Surprisingly, frogs never close their eyes while sleeping, have excellent eyesight, and their skin has antibacterial properties.

How to Draw a Frog
- Eye contours.
Begin by drawing the outline of the frog’s eyes. Cartoon frog eyes look like arch shapes. They are drawn in two semicircles, and straight lines are added below the semicircles.
- Add eye details.
Draw curved lines above the frog’s eyes to form the eye area. Also in this step shows how you need to draw the pupils of the cartoonish frog.
- Draw the head.
Now we need to sketch the head of the frog. Draw the head using curved lines. The shape of the head should be in the form of a football.
- Add the mouth line.
Depict a large cartoon frog mouth using a wavy line. Note that the frog has a smiling emote. Under the mouth, draw one short, straight line, as in the example.
- Draw the body.
Sketch an oval-shaped small frog torso. Extend one line out from under the head and lengthen it to create the torso of the animal.
- Draw the front limbs.
Using curved lines shape the forelimbs of the frog. Then draw the front webbed feet of the frog, as in the example.
- Hind limbs.
Draw the rear frog legs as shown. First, depict the general shape, then add lines to separate the inside of the legs. Apart from the legs, this step shows how to detail the body of the frog by dividing its skin into two sections.
- Add feet.
Draw the large webbed hind feet of the frog.
- Color your cartoon.
To color the frog, use green shades. Color the chin and belly in a light green shade or beige.
