How to Draw a Chameleon
- Outline the head.
First, you need to draw the outline of the chameleon’s head. Follow the instruction while drawing.
- Add the eye.
Draw the large round reptilian eye like in the example, then draw the eyelid line as shown.
- Add pupil and cheek.
The pupil is quite easy to draw, for this, add the smaller circle to the previously drawn eye. Slightly to the right of the eye, draw the oval outline of the cheek.
- Draw the mouth and nostril.
Using a curved line, draw the outline of the mouth. And then add the nostril in the form of a small filled oval.
- Draw the body.
Focusing on the instructions, draw the elongated body, turning into a long and curly tail.
- Add stripes.
In the upper part of the surface of the back and tail, add stripes of different sizes.
- Draw the legs.
Using long straight lines, draw the front and back legs.
- Add feet.
At one of the final stages, you need to draw the feet.
- Color your drawing.
The most natural color for a resting chameleon is green, but this can change depending on the environment.
