How to Draw a Camel
- Head outline.
Use a series of curved lines to outline the head, jaw, and ear.
- Add eyes, mouth and nose.
The details of the face should be drawn using curved lines.
- Draw the neck.
Next you need to draw the long neck. The top can be drawn in a zigzag line to add texture.
- Draw the body.
Next, you need to draw the body. Its shape resembles an oval figure.
- Draw the hump.
With a wavy line, draw a hump in the upper back. It is also necessary to add characteristic spots of different sizes on the body and neck.
- Draw the legs.
Draw the back and front legs. Notice how the shape of the leg widens at the hip and thins out above the knee and ankle.
- Draw two more legs and the tail.
Draw two more legs in the same way. Then draw the tail in the shape of an elongated oval.
- Leg and tail details.
At the bottom of the legs, add horizontal lines, thereby highlighting the feet. Add a teardrop shape to indicate the tuft of tail fur.
- Color your drawing.
At this stage, you need to color the drawing of a camel. The most characteristic color for a camel will be brown and orange in different shades.
