The bear is not only one of the most popular representatives of the animal world of our planet, but also one of the most iconic. Often, bears are portrayed as good-natured giants.
Currently, the bear is the largest land predator on our planet, having appeared on Earth about 6 million years ago, it immediately became the personification of power and strength. All bears are covered with thick fur. The color of the bear’s coat depends on its species, and sometimes determines the name: brown bear or polar bear. An interesting fact: bears with a dark coat color, like people, turn gray in old age, and their hair turns from black to gray.

How to Draw a Bear
- Outline the body.
Start by drawing the outline of the bear’s body. Make use of your construction lines to aid you in outlining a more realistic shape of your gorilla. Begin by drawing a tilted line from the head, and let it arch above the body.
- Add details of the face.
Draw the minimalistic eye as well as a nose at the tip of the face as shown.
- Add the mouth and fur.
Draw a furry line at the beginning of the bear’s head, then draw a curved line for the mouth and muzzle details.
- Draw the ears.
Now you need to draw small rounded bear ears.
- Draw the bear’s legs.
Draw the first pair of bear legs, which are in the foreground.
- Add far legs.
Now add the second pair of bear legs as shown in the example.
- Draw the bear tail.
Draw the furry bear tail as in the example.
