As you know, baby birds hatch from an egg and in the first days they do not eat anything, thanks to the satiety of the nutrients that were in the egg. There are a huge number of varieties of birds and, depending on the species, they have a different type of fluff color. And over time, down is replaced by plumage, which, as a rule, occurs in the first weeks of life. Birds of prey chicks develop and fledge more slowly. An interesting fact: some bird cubs have an instinct in which the first object that comes into the chick’s field of vision, he considers his mother.

How to Draw a Baby Bird

Draw the outline of the head.
The lower part of the head has a rounded shape, which gradually tapers in the upper part and ends in a wavy line. Then add two oval eyes.
Face details.
Add eyebrows above the eyes in the form of small arches. Under the eyes, draw the cheeks, which are shaped like a horizontally elongated oval. Also draw the top of the beak in the form of a triangle.
Finish drawing the beak.
Below the previously drawn triangle, add two extended arcs. This will create an open beak.
Draw the outline of the body.
Draw the body as shown in our instructions. Thus, an open beak will be obtained, which will eventually give the drawing a smiling look.
Draw the wings.
The shape of the wings of the wings can be drawn with curved wavy lines. The bird’s wings should be wide open.
Detail the body.
Next, you need to detail the body of the baby bird, for this add a simple wavy line. Repeat this action several times in different parts of the body.
Add legs.
Let’s start drawing the legs of the bird from the top, which in its shape resembles an inverted crown.
